Yamaha Moto Cage-Six Concept

Yamaha has given us a sneak preview of its latest concept, Yamaha Moto Cage-Six concept which was inspired by the motorcycle stunt riding scene. This action has become the essential part of our motorcycle sub-culture because motorcycle stunt riding is no longer considered just for fun, but more like a sport. Freestyle stunt riders are now seen as professional athletes where each competition can attract huge crowd of people, riders are reviewed based on their styles, level of difficulties and crowd reactions.
Yamaha Moto Cage-Six concept features heavy-duty metal tubes which cover the main body/engine, they are meant to accentuate the stunt-inspired look while providing extra protection. It looks like this aggressive machine would be a great complement to your urban lifestyle, don't you think?

Coop Bike & Trike

The thoughtfully designed Coop line of toys brings us back to a simpler time and place when handcrafted perfection (not mass production) was the method of choice. The ride-able bike and 2 trikes are an ecological alternative that combine reclaimed wood with premium hardware – easily constructed right out of the box with a simple allen wrench. Better yet, after the toy has outlived its life, you can send it back to be reclaimed again to build new toys and receive a 10% reimbursement!

MOOBY Bike Project

The name MOOBY Bike was born out of the idea of shortening the word mobility. With the increasing in traffic, it would be more comfortable and healthier to ride a bike to reach your destination. MOOBY bike won't formally revolutionize the category of bikes, but conceptually, considering the vehicle as fashionable object or gadget that reflects the owner's style or mood, just like clothes. Thank you to the side plates, you can change the look, color, graphics and material quickly to customize the style of your bike!

The frame structure is made of aluminum alloy or composite materials, while the plates are made of fiberglass covered with fabrics or wood, etc. Mechanically the motion is transmitted by a series of gears, connected with a small chain which actuates the orbital wheel. MOOBY Bike was inspired by the single speed and fixed-gear bike, so it doesn't have brakes for both wheels.

e-Cargo Box

Delivering stuff with huge cargo vehicle in crowded street can be a problem, thus e-Cargo Box has been designed to solve this issue. It was based on the Car-go concept from Adam Schacter, this electric cargo vehicle offers a great mechanism to deliver stuff to the customers in a busy traffic street. In some local areas, they use some kind of cart to deliver items to the customer, the kind that you push around with hands that require so much effort to move around. Furthermore, you don't have a good control when the cart is fully loaded with heavy packages.

e-Cargo Box has been designed to use 4 electric batteries installed on the wheels. This vehicle is meant to be used around in the city for quick and easy deliveries. There are 3 modes: compact, semi-compact mode, and pick-up mode for larger loads.

High Performance Sled

Winter is officially here and even those of us in sunny SoCal are looking forward to playing in the snow! Now, if only we could get our hands on New Zealand based design company 4DESIGN's Stealth-X snow sled. This super lightweight, monocoque sled is made entirely of carbon fiber to enhance its strength. Sitting in a position similar to an F1 car, the rider leans as they would a motorcycle to navigate turns at a top speed of 40MPH. It's so maneuverable it can be skidded to a stop just like a snowboard. Leave it to the Kiwis!

When you're done with your run, simply fold it up and carry in your backpack!

Rizoma 77/011

That's carbon fiber btw – aluminum only plays accent here. With the number of growing urban bicyclists, I'm not surprised designers are paying more attention to design and functionality that plays well inside the urban jungle. The most unique feature is switching from a single speed fixed wheel to a fixed-gear. All this through an ingenious rear wheel equipped with two pulleys to freely choose from.

The deceptively minimalist aesthetic belies the technology. Look at how the frame curvature makes the bike seem as if it's always in motion. Everything around it is adjustable. The simplest feature on the bike is the belt drive. The not so simple thing to do is deciding on white or black. I'm partial to white. It somehow makes the bike larger than life.
